The video simply made me sad and I wanted somewhere to get my frustration out. I just want to yell at her that the Christianity that she's talking about is "not the Christianity I know, and is not the Christianity that's in the Bible." I know that I struggle with living a loving life like Christ, but this is not what we are called to be as Christians.
If you watched the video straight from my blog, you missed the caption that the YouTube poster added. It said this...
"Religious Voter: I can't imagine a President being named Obama. This dumb religious zealot seems out of her mind. Funny how the really religious people are the intolerant and ignorant assholes."
People like this are why so many people are turned away from the Gospel of love and freedom that we are offered in the Bible. Once again, I don't have this right myself, but my heart breaks for the people who see this and are turned away from Jesus.
I know that I haven't said much worthwhile in this post. I simply needed to get this out. Thanks for reading if you did.

true.
that is not love. and in the words of derek webb, we'll never have a savior on capitol hill...
i can't believe, for one, that she was placing more emphasis on Barack's parents' FORMER beliefs than his (whether true or not) current beliefs.
and these are the "christians" that get put on tv because they will make good tv, and this is the label we will continue to have...
sad. we have to be the change...and just love people.
