Crossroads Winter Conference Day 2

After going to bed at 1 AM, I had to get up at 7.  After the long day that was yesterday, this was not pleasing to me.

I tend to shower pretty much every morning for 2 reasons.  1) To fix my bedhead 2) I function better after a shower.  So since we had to be at breakfast at 7:30, I decided to get up at 7 for a shower.

I walk into the bathroom, turn on the shower, and nothing comes out.  Not only was there no hot water, there was no water at all.  I turn on the sink, and a trickle comes out.  There is no water.  Apparently there was no water in the hotel.  Eventually, the sink got a large stream of freezing cold water coming out so I washed my hair in that.  Not fun.

It wasn't the best start to the day, but the conference is going well overall.

Last night we played our first set which went really really well.  I feel like the band is really tight.  The kids seemed to really enjoy it as well.

This morning's set wasn't as tight.  Well, at least on my end.  I just haven't woken up yet.  The speaker is speaking right now, and we have one more song to do.

I'm really enjoying being here and getting to know these guys.  I'll try and update again later with some more pictures.
